Site Instructions
- 1. SELECT PROPERTY(IES)
- Add the properties in which you have a vested interest in navigating to "Property Look Up under the Menu, then click "+Add Property."
- 2. FILE FOR A PERMIT
- Before entering the application information, ensure you have PDFs of all required documents to be uploaded with the application you're seeking (see application requirements on our website). Have to add a link to the website
- Click "File For A Permit" in the Menu and complete Steps 1-6.
- After reviewing your application in Step 5, it will automatically be sent for pre-submission intake review upon continuing to Step 6 where you will be presented with the option to download or print your application in PDF format.
- 3. PRE-SUBMISSION INTAKE REVIEW
- Your application will undergo a cursory review for completeness to verify that the minimum required information has been provided.
- If the minimum information hasn't been submitted, you'll receive an email indicating which materials must be provided.
- If the minimum information is in place, the Permits Department will email you, instructing you to submit the Filing Fee and upload the notarized application. The application will be considered filed once the fee and the notarized application are received.
- 4. APPLICATION REVIEW
- After the application is deemed filed, it will undergo a series of internal reviews, depending on the application, to ensure the plans comply with the Islip Town Code, NYS Uniform Code, and other municipal regulations.
- Applications are processed in the order they are received.
- Do not commence construction until the permit is officially issued.
- 5. PERMIT INFORMATION should we change this page to say APPLICATION INFORMATION (FOR FUTURE APPLICATIONS, I.E. SITE PLANS)
